Happy Valentine's Day!

I only made a dozen Valentines this year, in three different themes and had fun making each of them unique!  I made several with the cute wintry girl stamp (My Favorite Things "Flurry of Love") my sister gave me last December.  The sweet image was perfect for my Mom as well as a couple close girl friends.  I also came up with some fairly traditional Valentines made simply with varied heart shapes in different colors and assorted textures that were more appropriate for my husband to send to his family.   Hands down, though, my favorite theme was cookies!  These were the most labor intensive cards to produce (fussy-cutting all those small goodies), but worth it for the people I love!

Note:  the cookies are not burnt!  They are chocolate, chocolate chip cookies which I know seem awfully rich to serve with hot cocoa but what can I say, I am a chocoholic!  That, plus I only have a few Copic brown markers in my collection thus far and they are fairly dark ones . . . Some of the later versions I made had milk or coffee as the accompanying beverage which may be a better choice!

However you choose to spend the holiday, I hope you get to enjoy it with those you love!

Supplies:   Lawn Fawn "Milk and Cookies" stamps, Paper Studio "Doodle Hearts" embossing folder, Copic markers, glossy accents, Spellbinders Nestabilities heart die, Craftsmart sentiment, generic brown ribbon,  Stampin' Up Whisper White, Real Red, Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip cardstock and ink.
