Stars and Stamps VCMP
I took a few liberties with this morning's first challenge on the OWH Stars and Stamps Labor Day VCMP. I used a 3/4 inch square punch and decided to turn the card sideways. I used some old DSP I had in my stash, Hot off the Press Snowflakes, a Stampabilities greeting, Marvy snowflake punch, Stampin' Up Northern Flurry embossing folder, SU Bashful Blue and Night of Navy cardstock. It was a great challenge for me, not having started any holiday cards yet while the weather's still in the 90's where I live!

This is Super cute, I really like how you switched it up a little.
ReplyDeleteNicely done! I like seeing people take the sketches and making them their own. Seeing lots of variations makes having the sketch even more useful and keeps the creative wheels spinning about using it over and over. Hope you enjoy the VCMP all weekend long!

Nifty way to use the sketch. This makes me think of my grandmother's quilt. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I'm doing holiday cards today too, and it is strange - it was 101 here today! I love how you flipped the sketch mixed the squares around, makes it looks active, like the snowflakes are falling!
ReplyDeleteI find that lining up something like this is HARD, so I'm impressed- this looks great!
